Takabisha, the world’s steepest roller coaster, accelerates to 100 km/h in 2 seconds, has a 43m drop, and a 121-degree free fall.
From Tech Cruch: Opened at Fuji-Q Highland amusement park, the Takabisha beats out Le Timber Drop in France as the world’s steepest roller coaster with a 121-degree freefall (Le Timber Drop’s freefall is 113.1 degrees). The $12.50 ride takes just under 2 minutes, and it cost the park $37 million.
Check out the video of the ride. I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of roller coasters, and for me, the video is probably enough excitement, but what do you think? Would you ride the Takabisha?
